The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
The Assistant Sous Chef acts as the second in command, supporting the Executive Chef by managing daily kitchen operations, supervising staff and ensuring food quality. Key duties include training personnel, controlling inventory/costs, and acting as lead in the chef's absence, demanding strong leadership, culinary expertise and sanitation knowledge.
Kitchen Leaderhsip-Supervises, coaches and schedules daily culinary staff to maintain productivity and high standards.
