Pharmacist | Clinical Pharmacy Services

ProSidian Seeks a Pharmacist | Clinical Pharmacy Services for Program Support on a Exempt 1099 Contract: No Overtime Pay Basis Technical Element located CONUS - Belcourt, North Dakota 58316 Across The CONUS - MidWest Region supporting Indian Health Service with Temporary Staffing at Quentin N Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility.

Seeking Pharmacist candidates with relevant Healthcare And Life Sciences Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Healthcare And Life Sciences Sector Clients such as QNBMHF. This as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Clinical Pharmacy Services Functional Area / PWS Section / Swim Lane Professional - Clinical Oversight Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

Provide services and support as a Clinical Oversight (Pharmacist) in the Healthcare And Life Sciences Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility, Belcourt Service Unit (QNBMHF) | Indian Health Service Generally Located In CONUS - Belcourt, North Dakota 58316 and across the CONUS - MidWest Region (Of Country/World).

Responsibilities and duties - Pharmacist | Clinical Pharmacy Services:

  • Dispense medications and provide direct patient counseling on proper use, side effects, and interactions.
  • Verify, interpret, and assess completeness and appropriateness of prescriptions.
  • Utilize ScriptPro and Pyxis systems for prescription management.
  • Compound and label IV additives; manage unit dose carts in inpatient care.
  • Conduct clinical chart reviews, renal function assessments, and medication reconciliation.
  • Counsel patients on discharge medications.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to resolve medication-related issues.
  • Maintain DEA documentation and records of controlled substances (including Schedule II drugs).
  • Participate in quality improvement programs per JCAHO and HCFA standards.

Desired Qualifications For Pharmacist | Clinical Pharmacy Services Candidates:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Current, unrestricted pharmacist license from any U.S. state.
  • Must meet IHS qualification standards for Registered Pharmacists.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding).
  • No health or work restrictions affecting job performance.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient pharmacy setting (preferred).
  • Recent experience (within past 5 years) required.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency with ScriptPro, Pyxis, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Accurate prescription preparation and labeling.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and dosing adjustments.
  • IV admixture and compounding.
  • Patient education and counseling.
  • DEA documentation and controlled substance handling.
