POSITION SUMMARY

As an Information Verification Specialist, you will be making outbound phone calls, while following a script, to a list of Healthcare practices and hospitals to verify and obtain the requested information per project, while following sampleability compliance guidelines for pharmaceutical companies to ship their product to the facility. The Information Verification Specialist will also research and pull information from various website to support the development for new software applications for Healthcare License Solutions. 


EMPLOYMENT STATUS:

This is a temp-to-perm position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 85% of time is spent making an average of about 200-250 outbound calls a day verifying healthcare provider’s information (office addresses, specialty, status, etc) with the use of a script
  • 15% of time is spent researching and pulling information from various websites to support the development of new software applications for Healthcare License Solutions 
  • Data entry of the information verified through outbound calls into MVS and Call ID
  • Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines
  • Attending weekly team meetings and actively participate 
Requirements:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

  • High School diploma required
  • Associates degree in any discipline; preferably in business administration coursework is a plus

JOB QUALIFICATONS

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to meet daily productivity quotas without sacrificing quality consistently
  • Ability to multi-task, have a great work ethic, strong typing skills and is reliable  
  • Clear and pleasant phone voice able to keep dialing through rejection of individuals who decline to provide the information we are seeking for 
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills 
  • Brings a friendly and positive attitude to work and enjoys talking on the phone
  • Computer literate - able to use a computer and navigate different system while making calls and inputting data into the systems
  • Ability to work flexibly, organize own workload and effectively manage competing priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy maintaining consistently high-quality standards 
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and within a team environment

YEARS’ EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ years experience in a Call Center environment

TECHNOLOGY/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE

  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Web based software experience preferred

REQUIRED TRAVEL

  • 10%

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. 
  • The individual is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen and extensive reading. The individual in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The individual must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time.
