Job description

Job Title: Scientific Laboratory Technician
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Duration: 7 Months
Location: Elk River, MN 55330
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine analytical testing on food and feed products.
  • Test raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
  • Prepare samples using laboratory grinding equipment.
  • Monitor, calibrate, and perform basic maintenance on laboratory instruments.
  • Interpret test results and accurately document findings.
  • Enter laboratory data into databases and maintain records.
  • Communicate testing results to internal teams.
  • Maintain laboratory documentation and customer specification records.
  • Support food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance programs.
  • Conduct laboratory inspections and assist with laboratory trials and experiments.
  • Follow laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and PPE requirements.

Must-Have Requirements
  • Entry-level laboratory experience or relevant education.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow laboratory procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret laboratory documentation and safety procedures.
