Role Description This is a full-time or part-time, on-site Barber/Salon Chair Rental role based at Yoci’s in Redondo Beach, CA. The professional will provide hair cutting, styling, and grooming services, consult with clients to understand their preferences, and recommend appropriate hair care solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized station, managing appointment schedules, and building and retaining a loyal client base. The role involves handling payments for services, promoting services in-person and via social channels as desired, and collaborating with other salon professionals to support a positive, respectful workplace. As a chair renter, the individual is responsible for their own tools, products, clients, and adherence to local health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experienced barber or cosmetologists with own clientele.
  • Training and certification in Cosmetology or Barbering (license is required by California regulations).
  • Strong skills in Barbering and Hair Cutting, with the ability to work with diverse hair types and styles.
