Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Salesforce QA Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce testing, test automation, integration validation, and end-to-end QA processes within enterprise applications. This is a mid-level senior role requiring hands-on experience in Salesforce platform testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
The candidate should be comfortable working in a hybrid onsite model and must attend an in-person interview in Michigan.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for Salesforce applications.
- Validate Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Salesforce implementations.
- Develop and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on business requirements.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Scrum Teams, and Stakeholders to ensure application quality.
- Perform API and backend validation testing using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects using Jira or similar defect tracking tools.
- Execute data validation and backend testing using SQL queries.
- Support UAT activities and production validation efforts.
- Collaborate with automation teams and contribute to automation framework improvements where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with QA standards, best practices, and release management processes.
Required Qualifications
- 8-12 years of overall QA/testing experience.
- Strong hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Solid understanding of STLC and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience in manual testing and exposure to automation testing tools.
- Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and interact with onsite/offshore teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications are a plus.
- Experience in Healthcare or Insurance domain preferred.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an added advantage.
- Experience with Selenium or other automation frameworks is preferred.
