Interview Process: Face-to-Face Interview is Mandatory in Okemos or Farmington Hills, Michigan
Experience Required: 8-12 Years
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce QA Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce testing, test automation, integration validation, and end-to-end QA processes within enterprise applications. This is a mid-level senior role requiring hands-on experience in Salesforce platform testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
The candidate should be comfortable working in a hybrid onsite model and must attend an in-person interview in Michigan.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for Salesforce applications.
  • Validate Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Salesforce implementations.
  • Develop and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on business requirements.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Scrum Teams, and Stakeholders to ensure application quality.
  • Perform API and backend validation testing using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Identify, document, track, and manage defects using Jira or similar defect tracking tools.
  • Execute data validation and backend testing using SQL queries.
  • Support UAT activities and production validation efforts.
  • Collaborate with automation teams and contribute to automation framework improvements where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with QA standards, best practices, and release management processes.
Required Qualifications
  • 8-12 years of overall QA/testing experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of STLC and defect lifecycle management.
  • Experience in manual testing and exposure to automation testing tools.
  • Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SOAP UI.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and interact with onsite/offshore teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce certifications are a plus.
  • Experience in Healthcare or Insurance domain preferred.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an added advantage.
  • Experience with Selenium or other automation frameworks is preferred.
