Now Hiring – Construction SpottersLocation: South Fulton, GA
Pay: $19.00–$21.00 per Hour

Compensation based on experience.

We are seeking dependable, safety-minded Construction Spotters to join our team supporting active commercial construction projects in South Fulton. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe work environment by assisting equipment operators, controlling pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and ensuring safe movement throughout the job site.
Schedule
  • Monday – Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Overtime may be available as needed

Applicants must arrive on time each day to catch the company shuttle to the construction site.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Serve as a dedicated spotter for heavy equipment and construction vehicles
  • Direct equipment operators using approved hand signals and verbal communication
  • Monitor blind spots and work zones to prevent accidents
  • Control pedestrian and vehicle traffic around active construction operations
  • Set up and maintain barricades, cones, caution tape, and temporary safety signage
  • Maintain safe work zones and identify potential hazards
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and crew members
  • Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies
  • Perform general labor and other duties as assigned
Critical Safety Requirement
This position is considered a critical safety role by the General Contractor and requires your full attention at all times.

  • Cell phones are strictly prohibited while performing spotter duties.

  • The General Contractor enforces a Zero-Tolerance Cell Phone Policy.
  • There are no warnings. Any employee observed using a cell phone while performing spotter responsibilities will be removed from the project immediately and employment will be terminated.

  • Candidates must be able to remain alert, focused, and attentive throughout their entire shift.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
  • Have a strong commitment to safety
  • Be dependable and punctual every day
  • Have reliable transportation to the designated shuttle pickup location
  • Be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Be capable of standing, walking, lifting, and performing physical work throughout the day
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Complete all required safety orientation and training before beginning work
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
