Job Description
Material Handler
Delta Ohio
2nd shift 3 pm - 11 pm $21.51 Paid Weekly
3rd Shift - 11 pm - 7 am $22.01 Paid Weekly
Training is on 1st shift for 1 or 2 weeks
Will be working on steel pickle Line- moving, cleaning, treating, & rolling coils of steel.
Qualification
Forklift is a plus, overhead crane experience is a plus, ability to read tape measure, working a non temp controlled environment, attention to detail, safety oriented
PPE
Steel toes, long sleeves and will to wear sleeve cuffs, hard hat, safety goggles and ear protection.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
  • Computer literate in order to maintain associated production documents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace
This is a physically demanding job which requires standing, bending, twisting, stooping and the ability to move up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities include:
  • Store finished goods in the warehouse
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Receive incoming materials and enter them into the computer system
  • Stage loads, band materials, and generate tags
  • Inspect coils for correct gauge, width, and any visible damage
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
