Now Hiring: Press Operators Middlefield, OH
Shift:1st Shift
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour
Type:** Full-time | Temp-to-Hire | Long-Term Opportunity
Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Press Operators to join a well-established rubber manufacturing facility in Middlefield, OH. This is a great opportunity for those looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heated rubber molding presses
- Spray molds with lubricant to prevent sticking
- Load rubber and/or metal parts into molds
- Start and monitor press cycles
- Remove finished goods, trim excess rubber (flash), and inspect parts
- Cut rubber preforms and prepare boxes for shipping
- Stamp cartons, package parts, and maintain accurate production records
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for up to 8 hours per shift
- Lifting up to 30 lbs., carrying short distances
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling
- Working indoors on concrete floors
- Exposure to minimal to moderate rubber fumes
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
