Bryan Ohio company looking for a first shift shipping clerk, pay is $20-$22/hr.

Shipping Clerk Details:

  • Temporary position
  • $20.00 to $22.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:00pm)
  • Responsible for maintaining the shipping / receiving department to assure all inbound and outbound material, products and packaging are unloaded / loaded, stored, shipped and recorded to meet internal and customer specifications.
  • Responsible for preparing the pack lists and sheets for the loads shipping each day.
  • Rrocesses all paperwork that travels with each load and ensures that the loads are properly documented.
  • Helps maintain all traffic records and updates the outbound master routing guide as required.
  • Billing of the loads and regular customer interface, both internal and external, are a critical part of the job.

Shipping Clerk Qualifications:

  • 1 -3 Years of Experience as Shipping/Receiving Clerk Less Than 1 Years of Experience within the automotive industry
  • Demonstrated work experience with computer software programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Internet, Word, Excel, and office databases.
  • Must be able to be moderately proficient with the use of a keyboard and/or PC. Moderate typing skills and basic math skills required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. •
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, and volume.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
  • Valid driver’s license and passing grade on Power Industrial Truck test.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
