What You’ll Do:
  • Provide administrative support to the Legal and Operations teams for all phases of case handling
  • Primarily process and sort high volumes of incoming and outgoing mail in the mailroom daily
  • Manage, sort, and route incoming mail by type, priority, and client to ensure USCIS deadlines are met
  • Print and assemble case document packets for submission to USCIS
  • Prepare passport photographs to accompany case packets
  • Organize case packets using required tabs and identify areas requiring client signatures
  • Draft routine legal and administrative documents as needed
  • Send a high volume of client communications in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepare shipping labels using thirdparty shipping software
  • Maintain accurate electronic records in the case management system and physical client files
  • Perform filing, scanning, copying, and other clerical tasks
  • For virtual clients, manage the fingerprint retrieval process
  • Submit outgoing records requests (FOIA and FBI) to local and federal law enforcement agencies
  • Work collaboratively with multiple departments to support efficient case flow
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous legal assistance or immigration law experience preferred
  • Previous customer service or office experience required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including Dropbox, SharePoint, or CRM
  • Possesses excellent English, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal; prefers bilingual in Spanish
  • Ruthless attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to solve problems independently or with the support of leadership
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative manner
