Accounts Payable Clerk
Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk for a temporary assignment to support a small, collaborative accounting team. This role will cover a leave of absence and may extend based on business needs. The position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial operations and ensuring timely processing of transactions.


Key Responsibilities for an Accounts Payable Clerk:
  • Perform daily cash postings (1–2 hours each morning)
  • Process, code, and enter accounts payable invoices
  • Route invoices for approvals and ensure proper documentation
  • Manage weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
  • Complete credit card reconciliations
  • Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve discrepancies
  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1–2 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
