Job description

All positions begin as temporary roles with the opportunity to transition to regular full-time employment following a successful probationary period, based on performance and business needs. 
Starting pay: $15/hour + shift differential
We are currently hiring for the following 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM) and 3rd Shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM) positions:

  • Packer
  • Groover-Beveler
  • Material Puller I
  • Shipping System Operator
  • Spiral Wound Operator Level I
  • Welder I

Job Duties and Responsibilities 
Depending on assigned position, responsibilities may include:
  • Pulling, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
  • Organizing and stocking materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Recording and processing orders using company systems.
  • Assembling boxes, crates, and packaging materials.
  • Palletizing, wrapping, and staging outgoing shipments.
  • Verifying product type, quantity, and quality prior to shipment.
  • Performing visual inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Operating manufacturing equipment such as winding, assembly, punching, stamping, slitting, or related machinery.
  • Loading materials onto machines, including lifting and positioning rolls using overhead cranes.
  • Completing small TIG welding projects (Welder I).
  • Verifying stamping information including size, pressure rating, and material.
  • Attaching work orders and identification tags to finished products.
  • Transporting finished products to inspection, storage, or shipping areas.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company safety policies.

  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic computer capabilities. 
  • Ability to work with a team. 
  • Ability to operate machinery, drive a forklift, or perform TIG welding (based on role)

Work Experience
  • No prior work experience required.
  • Preferred: Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: Pervious experience driving a forklift, operating a machine, or TIG welding.

Education
  • Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
  • Continuous standing and/or walking. 
  • Good eye/hand/foot coordination.
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy environments
  • Ability to safely operate machinery and equipment.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
  • Must be able to lift forty-five (45) pounds independently. 
  • Must be able to learn forklift and/or machine operation as required.​​​​​​​
