Seeking an experienced Histology Technician for a 13-week assignment working Tuesday through Saturday from 2:00 AMโ€“10:30 AM. The Histology Tech will perform specimen preparation and histological procedures to support accurate pathological diagnosis while maintaining quality standards and laboratory compliance. This position is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail and experience in a clinical histology laboratory. Requirements: 1โ€“2 years of Histology laboratory experience required
ASCP HT or HTL certification required
Active Florida Histology license required
Experience with tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining required
Knowledge of laboratory quality assurance and safety standards required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment required
First-time travelers accepted
Two supervisory references required at submission
No pending certifications accepted
