If so I hope to connect regarding our CNC Field Service Engineer position.

As a Field Services Engineer, you’ll support clients across a locally defined territory with a primary focus on the Chicagoland Market. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge technology while partnering with a diverse client base—all within an organization that truly backs its service technicians.

You’ll receive a a company vehicle or a car allowance, company-provided cell phone and laptop, covered fuel expenses, and a fast, hassle-free reimbursement process. This role is not a national “road warrior” position. While driving to clients is required, it’s focused mostly on local clients in and around the local market. Responsibilities:
Responsible for day to day field service. Including but not limited to: service, installations and/or preventive maintenance relative to the local market.

Essential Duties include:

  • Perform field service, installations or PMs as required.
  • Resolve customer issues and provide sales support and some training
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of different people
  • Represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically at all times, with all actions in line with business expectations.
  • Take ownership of all service cases, projects, etc., and maintain all customer records and technical documentation.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
What are we looking for?
Ideally someone with experience installing, maintaining and/or repairing, of CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers. With this experience we're looking for developed repair skills, focused on the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical aspects of your craft.
