Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Technician II – Mechanical & RoboticsJob Description

This role supports the Operations Maintenance team by installing, maintaining, and repairing material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution equipment within a high-throughput facility. You ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and help keep automated systems running safely and efficiently across the building.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair material handling equipment throughout the facility to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems, including identifying faults, replacing components, and verifying proper functionality after repairs.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on automated packaging and distribution equipment to support continuous and accurate material flow.
  • Inspect equipment regularly to identify wear, damage, or potential failures and take corrective action to prevent unplanned downtime.
  • Support the Operations Maintenance team by responding to maintenance requests and resolving equipment issues in a timely manner.
  • Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and technical documentation to diagnose mechanical and pneumatic problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Follow established maintenance procedures and safety guidelines while working on mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately to support maintenance planning and equipment history tracking.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and operations personnel to prioritize tasks and ensure critical equipment remains operational.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician working with material handling equipment.
  • Hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for complex equipment and systems.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions, procedures, and equipment documentation.
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and working safely around automated and mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an operations maintenance team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working in an automated distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with robotic or automated material handling systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with operations and other maintenance personnel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
