Job description

Pay: $50/hour
Location: High Desert Area, California
Schedule: Independent Contract work / Flexible
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes throughout the High Desert area as an Independant Contracter.
Responsibilities
  • Perform PICC line dressing changes and central-line assessments.
  • Perform lab draws and specimen collection as ordered.
  • Provide G-tube teaching and hands-on education to patients and caregivers.
  • Assess patient condition and report changes to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  • Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and care plans.
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Follow infection-control practices, physician orders, and home health standards.
  • Provide professional, compassionate care in the patient's home.
Qualifications
  • Current, unrestricted California RN license.
  • Previous home health or community nursing experience preferred.
  • Experience with PICC care, venipuncture/lab draws, and G-tube care and teaching preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and travel to patient homes throughout the High Desert.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills.
