Schedule & Duration:

  • Temporary assignment (duration based on business needs, approximately 3-4 months)
  • Hours are from 9am - 5pm (flexible days available)
  • Various locations available (Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens)

Job Overview:

Rendr is seeking Temporary Registered Nurses (RNs) to support our vaccination initiatives across multiple clinical sites and headquarters. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safe and efficient administration of vaccines to our patient population and community members. The RN will assist with vaccination clinics, patient education, observation, and documentation in accordance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Administer vaccines to patients following established clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Review patient vaccination histories
  • Provide patient education
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate clinical response as needed
  • Support the setup, organization, and clean-up of vaccination areas to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff to maintain patient flow and adherence to daily vaccination goals
  • Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the vaccination initiative such as calling patients and assisting with scheduling
  • Perform other nursing duties within scope of practice as requested by site providers (e.g. administer medication, administer injections, assist with triaging/site workflow)

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual English and Chinese required (Conversational in Cantonese or Mandarin is sufficient)
  • Active NYS Registered Nurse License and Registration required
  • Active BLS Certification required
  • Previous experience administering vaccines preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Ability to drive/travel for potential house calls is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
