Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or an assigned patient group in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
  • Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and departments
  • Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
  • AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
  • AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Previous acute care facility experience
