  • Current Alabama RN License or Temporary RN License

Essential Responsibilities

As the RN Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of your assigned unit while ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centered care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, supervise, mentor, and support CNAs and nursing staff on your assigned unit.
  • Promote a positive team culture focused on quality resident care and excellent customer service.
  • Monitor resident conditions, complete nursing assessments, and promptly communicate changes to physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
  • Manage and oversee individualized resident care plans from development through ongoing evaluation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely electronic documentation.
  • Coordinate pharmacy services, laboratory testing, physician orders, and follow-up care.
  • Oversee wound care management and other skilled nursing interventions.
  • Assist with quality assurance initiatives, regulatory compliance, and infection prevention efforts.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and education to nursing staff while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
