Schedule: Monday–Friday, 02:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Company Overview

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Finishing Operator to join their label manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating finishing equipment, inspecting printed labels for quality, and preparing finished products for shipment. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation

  • Set up and operate label inspection, rewind, and die-cutting equipment.
  • Read job orders and select the correct dies, cores, and rewind methods for each production run.
  • Monitor machine operation and adjust as needed to ensure proper cutting, winding, and finishing.
  • Remove and replace machine blades when necessary.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on finishing equipment.
  • Identify and report production defects or quality concerns.
  • Ensure finished products meet customer specifications before packaging.
  • Cut, collate, wrap, and package finished label products.
  • Label and prepare completed orders for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming pallets and shipments arriving from Spain
  • Unload, organize, and properly store inventory within the warehouse

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or logistics experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills required
  • Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software is a plus
  • SAP experience highly preferred, but not required (training provided)
  • Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 20 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with team assistance
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
