Everyone's Counseling Therapy Clinic is seeking committed and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This fully remote full-time position allows you to offer crucial mental health services to a diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT, your core responsibilities will include the following:

  • Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional health.
  • Formulate individualized treatment plans based on client assessments and collaborative discussions.
  • Guide clients through individual therapy sessions, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
  • Facilitate couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to enhance communication and resolve conflicts.
  • Monitor client progress by routinely reviewing and adjusting treatment plans in response to changing needs.
  • Document all client interactions and maintain accurate records, including progress notes and treatment outcomes, adhering to compliance guidelines.
  • Engage in crisis intervention when necessary to provide immediate support to clients in distress.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of marriage and family therapy, participating in professional development and training as required.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve supporting adolescents, adults, and couples facing various mental health challenges. We serve a diverse demographic, and you will play a critical role in advocating for clients' rights and well-being while empowering them to make informed treatment decisions. Qualifications

The following qualifications are essential for this role:

  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
  • Current and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Virginia.
  • Strong proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with clients effectively in a remote setting.
Preferred Experience
