  • Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

  • Control jobsite traffic by flagging off operational areas around the crane.

  • Follow all daily operational procedures outlined in training and safety briefings.

What You'll Need to Be Successful

  • Ability to make sound decisions and exercise strong independent judgment.

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills (phone, text, and email).

  • Awareness of jobsite safety and commitment to safe operations at all times.

Minimum RequirementsEducation & Experience
  • 2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience preferred

  • Crane certification required (NCCCO preferred; Mindak will pay for certification if you have strong mini-tower crane experience)

Other Requirements

  • Familiarity with lumber, building materials, and hardware preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

  • Prolonged standing, frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.

  • Ability to operate manual and powered construction tools safely.

  • Must be able to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or platforms.

  • Ability to move safely around an active construction site.

Working Environment
  • Work is performed outdoors, often in environments that may be dusty, noisy, or contain typical construction hazards.

  • Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and on active commercial construction sites.
