ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

Day 4x10-Hour shift (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in both the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Lab. This role requires expertise in interventional cardiac services, ensuring quality care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
  • Perform various procedures including cardiac stent placement, angioplasty, and IABP placement/removal.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and manage sedation.
  • Assist in interventional radiology cases such as biopsies and drain placements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in the cardiac catheterization lab.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
  • New York RN license must be in hand at the time of application.
  • Experience in both Cath Lab and IR Lab is mandatory.
  • Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement skills.
