Job description

Mobile Health Team Inc, is a Nurse owned staffing agency that focuses on meeting the needs of our healthcare professionals by offering a variety of placement options, flexible scheduling and competitive pay. 

We are currently looking for experienced, hardworking and compassionate Healthcare Professionals to join us and help bridge the staffing gap in all aspects of the healthcare system. We offer PRN, Contract and permanent positions. 


Position:  Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health - Inpatient

Start Date: 10/6/2025

Duration: 13 Weeks 

Location: Grand Rapids, MI, 49548

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Evenings, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 8

Shift Notes: 40 hours guaranteed

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

On-Call Requirements: none

COVID Vaccination: na

Travel Policy: Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 35-mile radius restriction)

** We can hire for 40 hours per week, and given our current needs, this RN may have the opportunity to pick up additional shifts, potentially working up to 48 hours. Based on the demand, I don't anticipate any issues with them picking up extra hours; however, additional shifts are not guaranteed.  

Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable to perform the nursing process as a basis for patient care. RNs provide direction and oversight to other licensed and non-licensed staff. Pine Rest RNs show compassion to recipients of services, coworkers, and surrounding communities through integrity, stewardship, empowerment, the promotion of diversity, and professional excellence. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate excellent customer service and have enthusiasm for the program and the Pine Rest organization.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assesses the person’s served care needs, develops a plan of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and continually reassesses the plan of care according to the person’s served care needs.
  • In collaboration with the physician, provides/coordinates nursing care to individuals and groups of persons served.
  • Assists in the teaching of persons served and families, and provides milieu management. Communicates with and educates persons served ,families/significant others in discharge/after care planning needs.
  • Provides a safe and secure environment for persons served and staff in both individual and group settings.
  • Responsible for documenting, reporting, and verifying all necessary information according to established policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for monitoring for and reporting to the physician(s) any potential risk to the person served’s safety that could lead to an adverse outcome.
  • Creates a customer/client-friendly environment by following quality improvement standards, maintaining professionalism, initiating and maintaining positive relationships with departments/programs, co-workers, and external customers.
  • Provides care in various clinical settings with diverse served populations. Identifies specific persons’ served needs and implements served-centered, compassionate care.
  • Functions as a clinical leader, delegating/coordinating staff assignments and promoting staff development.
  • Responsible for the utilization and continued review of patient care protocols, standards of practice, and standards of care. Gives input into the process for improvement.
  • Utilizes and promotes careful use of resources.
  • May be responsible for training direct care staff.
  • May be indirectly responsible for oversight of medication and physical health activities in a program.
  • May be responsible for scheduling, staffing, and obtaining pre-authorizations.
  • Responsible for role modeling the mission and values of the organization, presenting a professional image that is projected in appearance, attitudes, and behaviors, time management, and communication skills. Provides spiritual, emotional, social, mental, and physical support to patients.
  • In the community residential settin, the staff areg required to support and promote a recovery-focused environment and person-centered approach within the program.
  • Commitment to demonstrating the Hospital and Residential Services Model of Care in hospital and residential areas.
  • Responsible for upholding the healing ministry of Christ through relationships that honor integrity, stewardship, empowerment, the promotion of diversity, equity, inclusion, and professional excellence.
  • Must maintain annual training and demonstrate competency in the required programmatic training.
  • Performs other duties or functions as assigned. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • May function as a charge nurse.
