The Campus Driver is a critical member of the ministry, serving by assisting with day to day driving needs.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 2pm-7pm

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport clients (individuals in recovery) to scheduled appointments, work sites, court dates, meetings, etc.

  • Complete routine vehicle safety checks and ensure cleanliness.

  • Maintain accurate daily logs (mileage, passenger counts, incidents, times).

  • Communicate clearly with clients and program staff.

  • Respond appropriately and calmly in stressful or emergency situations.

  • Enforce facility safety rules while respecting the dignity and boundaries of clients.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of professional driving experience (work, school, community transportation, delivery, or support services).

  • Experience working with individuals in recovery, behavioral health, social services, or similar population preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license in the state of operation (e.g., Georgia Class C or equivalent) with a clean driving record.

  • Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) verification meeting organizational standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.

  • Ability to assist clients entering/exiting vehicles (may include light assistance).

  • Ability to lift or secure luggage or personal items as needed (up to ~25–50 lbs).
