We're looking for a Unix Support Specialist to support the daily operations of an autonomous vehicle fleet. This role combines technical troubleshooting, real-time support, and hands-on operational work to help keep cutting-edge autonomous vehicles running safely and efficiently.
If you're comfortable working with Unix/Linux command line, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with operations and engineering teams, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues from vehicle operators and safety drivers.
  • Troubleshoot, document, and escalate technical issues to engineering teams.
  • Use Unix/Linux command-line tools to review logs and assist with diagnostics.
  • Monitor fleet readiness, charging status, and operational health.
  • Perform vehicle startup and shutdown procedures.
  • Support vehicle dispatch and return operations.
  • Conduct basic hardware checks including cable connections and onboard equipment.
  • Move vehicles around the facility when needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in ticketing systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve issues quickly.
What We're Looking For
Required
  • At least 1 year of technical support, IT support, help desk, operations support, or related experience
  • Comfortable using Unix/Linux command line on a daily basis
  • Experience with commands such as:
