This locum tenens/per diem radiology job offers focused mammography, breast biopsy and multimodality breast imaging practice in a collegial environment serving Saginaw and Midland. Ideal for a board-certified breast radiologist seeking short-term coverage or per diem radiology work in a supportive community.

Required Qualifications
  • Board certified in Radiology with breast imaging expertise (Breast Radiologist)
  • MD or DO with active credentials and a clean file for temporary privileges (eligible for temporary Michigan privileges)
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience in breast imaging and breast procedures
  • Proficient in reading screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
  • Experience performing breast biopsies, localizations, stereotactic procedures, and other breast health procedures
  • Familiarity with RPCE Tech Stack, Mosaic, Powerscribe, and PACS/RIS workflows
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography studies with accuracy and timely reporting
  • Perform image-guided breast biopsies, stereotactic procedures, and pre-operative localizations
  • Interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI exams and integrate multimodality findings
  • Participate in breast tumor boards and collaborate with multidisciplinary breast care teams (surgery, oncology, pathology)
  • Maintain productivity expectations (approximately 75 RVUs per shift) while ensuring high-quality patient care
  • Document reports in Powerscribe and manage studies via PACS/Mosaic according to site protocols
