What you will do:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms. This role includes preparing patients for procedures, operating and maintaining imaging equipment, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver accurate imaging while maintaining patient comfort and confidentiality.
Mammographer Summary of Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mammograms for screening and diagnostic purposes.
  • Educate and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging.
  • Maintain detailed patient records and manage documentation in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Ensure compliance with CA DPH regulations and maintain licensure and training standards.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 year experience as a Mammography Technologist.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R)(M).
  • California Dept. of Public Health (CRT).
  • Proof of Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) if applicable.
  • Current CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
  • Must have proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations or titers.
  • Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 Months.
  • Current Annual Health Clearance.
  • Reliable source of transportation.
