Your Role:
Patient Assessment:
Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' oral health status, including examining the teeth, gums, and soft tissues, as well as evaluating oral hygiene practices and risk factors for dental diseases.
Dental Cleanings: Conduct professional dental cleanings (prophylaxis) to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from the teeth. Use specialized instruments and techniques to clean above and below the gumline and polish the teeth for a smooth finish.
Periodontal Therapy: Provide non-surgical periodontal therapy, including scaling and root planning, to treat gum disease and promote periodontal health. Monitor and document periodontal measurements to track the progress of treatment.
Dental Radiography: Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as part of the diagnostic process, following established protocols and safety guidelines. Interpret radiographic images to identify dental caries, periodontal disease, and other oral conditions.
Oral Health Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and interdental cleaning techniques. Provide personalized recommendations for oral care products and preventive measures to maintain optimal oral health.
