Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector I – Medical Device Service Repair

We are hiring a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector I to support medical device and medical equipment service repair operations in Irvine, CA.
This is an onsite quality role focused on inspection, documentation review, quality records, and release support for completed repair work.
This position is a good fit for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, accurate with documentation, and comfortable working in a structured quality environment.
About the Role
The Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector I will:
• Review completed repair documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Inspect completed medical device and medical equipment service repairs.
• Verify work orders, service packages, quality records, and release documentation.
• Confirm customer-required documentation is complete before product release.
• Identify missing, incomplete, or incorrect documentation before repaired devices or equipment are released.
• Update ERP, QMS, database, or repair documentation systems accurately.
• Maintain quality records, calibration records, certificates, logs, and related documentation.
• Support ESD, ISO, Good Documentation Practices, and internal quality procedures.
• Communicate with Quality, Repair, Shipping, Warehouse, and Operations teams to resolve documentation or release issues.
• Support warranty records, non-conformance records, Certificates of Conformance, and Engineering Action Reports when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions exactly as written.
• Comfort reviewing repair records, work orders, quality records, or similar documentation.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to learn ERP, QMS, database, and documentation systems.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Comfort working onsite in a warehouse / Service Repair Center environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs when needed.
• Must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday in Irvine, CA.
• Must currently live in Orange County, CA, or within a reasonable daily commute to Irvine.
Preferred:
• Associate degree.
• Experience in QA/QC, inspection, documentation review, warehouse quality, manufacturing quality, medical device service, medical equipment repair, repair depot, or service repair environment.
• Experience in a medical device, medical equipment, healthcare technology, repair depot, warehouse, manufacturing, quality, or ISO-certified environment.
• Exposure to Good Documentation Practices.
• Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ANSI/ESD S20.20, or similar quality system requirements.
• Experience with ESD procedures, wrist-strap logs, static-control records, calibration logs, or quality records.
• Experience using ERP, QMS, repair documentation systems, databases, or electronic quality records.

• This position is onsite in Irvine, CA.
• This position is Monday through Friday.

• Pay range is $22.00 – $24.00 per hour.
• Candidates must currently live in Orange County, CA, or within a reasonable daily commute to Irvine.
