IV Process: Take home hacker rank (30 minute online) then 2 rounds – 1st video 30-minute, 2nd 1 hour onsite

MUST HAVE:

  • 5+ yrs SDET
  • JavaScript or Typescript
  • Playwright/cypress or equivalent automation testing tool
  • DevOps tools experience
  • Docker container testing or similar

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Observability tools (datadog, splunk, Grafana)
  • Kubernetes

Infrastructure SDET – Enterprise Ordering Platform

Overview
Client is hiring an Infrastructure SDET to support the rollout of next-generation ordering systems across 4,000+ restaurant locations. This role focuses on building and scaling automated testing frameworks that validate system reliability, performance, and infrastructure readiness in real-world environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain automated test frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright
  • Develop end-to-end, integration, and infrastructure-level tests for distributed systems
  • Partner with engineering teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Validate cloud-based systems (AWS/Azure) for scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Contribute to test strategy, design, and architecture
  • Implement test reporting and dashboards for coverage, defects, and performance visibility
  • Collaborate with Scrum teams to embed testing into the development lifecycle
  • Evaluate tools and improve automation maturity across the platform
  • Support observability-driven testing (logs, metrics, traces) to identify production risks

What You Bring

  • 5–8+ years in SDET / QA Automation Engineering
  • Strong experience with:
    • TypeScript / JavaScript
    • Playwright, Cypress, or similar modern frameworks
  • Hands-on experience testing cloud-based systems (AWS or Azure)
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD-integrated test suites
  • Understanding of test strategy, test architecture, and automation best practices  
  • Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, etc.) is a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills in Agile environments
