Vaxcom Services LLC (a Parsons company) is looking for a temporary Project Support/Customer Service Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to provide oversight, direction, coordination, and customer service support as part of a mid-sized team working on a short-term, temporary special project. Please note this special project is expected to last approximately five months in duration before completion. What You'll Be Doing: * Please note this is a short-term temporary project that will require schedule flexibility by those hired.
* Providing physical and technical security oversight and guidance to both cleared and uncleared personnel at multiple classified facilities.
* Using knowledge of IC security related regulations, policies, concepts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to oversee/coordinate the secure movement of equipment/materials from/to multiple locations.
* Acting as the Customer Service Representative and interfacing with the Sponsor, prime contractor, moving company, and Vaxcom Services LLC to address day-to-day tactical issues with the project.
* Communicating and resolving potential issues surfacing between the Sponsor organizational elements and the special project team.
* Responsible for identifying and then helping to locate misplaced equipment and materials, and then successfully arranging for the transportation of the items to the final destination.
* Assisting the Vaxcom Services LLC Program Manager with scheduling, staffing, problem solving, and troubleshooting.
* Capturing and providing project related metrics to all stakeholders.
* Promoting and maintaining proper handling of all sensitive, classified, and/or hazardous materials and equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* Providing direction to project team members regarding site safety policies and procedures.
* Demonstrating analytical thinking to provide input to senior Sponsor and company leadership regarding best practices in a changing environment.
* Demonstrating maximum flexibility, adaptability, and collaboration in a rapidly changing environment.
* Working independently and as part of a team to provide world-class customer service support.
* Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What Required Skills You'll Bring: * Must possess a four year college degree with at least twelve (12) years of work related experience or a combination of education and directly related equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed.
* Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and written) with audiences that include senior leadership, on site management, teammates, vendors, and other stakeholders.
* At least five years experience working in a customer service role requiring extensive, daily interaction with officers at all levels.
* A high level of attention to detail and ability to problem solve a variety of issues that need to be prioritized.
* Must have experience working in a classified environment, preferably for an IC (Intelligence Community) agency.
* Must have maximum schedule flexibility and be able to work all days of the week potentially for extended hours as needed by this project.
* Must have experience in understanding and applying security practices, concepts, and procedures.
* Must have own transportation and a valid U.S. driver's license.
* Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to successfully handle changing requirements.
* Must possess an active and current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: * Experience working with large scale facilities moves or renovations requiring monitoring/directing cleared and uncleared personnel in classified facilities.
