Job description

Job Title: Senior Professional Services Delivery Lead (Contract)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Professional Services Delivery Lead to oversee the end-to-end execution of our most complex enterprise implementations. This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role for a seasoned Project Manager who understands that successful delivery is as much about managing executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams as it is about technical milestones.
You will act as the primary bridge between our sales organization and our technical delivery teams. Your objective is to ensure that our sophisticated solutions are deployed seamlessly, within budget, and in a way that provides immediate business value to our enterprise customers. If you are a practitioner who thrives in ambiguous environments and knows how to "drive" a project toward completion while building long-term customer trust, this is the ideal opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Portfolio Management
• Project Governance: Lead cross-functional technical teams to deliver multi-stream implementation services for high-criticality enterprise environments.
• Financial Stewardship: Manage the financial health of your project portfolio. Monitor budget burn rates, margin analysis, and revenue recognition to ensure all engagements are profitable and on-target.
• Scalable Methodologies: Help refine and implement delivery frameworks that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our Professional Services organization.
Strategic Execution & Stakeholder Leadership
• Executive Presence: Serve as the "face" of the delivery team to C-suite stakeholders. Use your influence and professional credibility to navigate complex customer relationships and manage expectations.
• Risk & Mitigation: Proactively identify project risks, particularly in multi-vendor environments. Implement robust mitigation strategies that protect customer operations and ensure project continuity.
• Sales-to-Delivery Handoff: Ensure a seamless, consultative transition from the sales cycle to technical execution, ensuring that customer requirements are captured accurately and executed precisely.
• Force Multiplier: Proactively leverage modern AI and automation tools to streamline project workflows, optimize documentation, and maximize the productivity of your delivery team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience Baseline: Extensive background in professional services delivery, specifically within the SaaS or enterprise software industry.
• Project/Portfolio Mastery: Mastery of project management principles, with the ability to oversee a high volume of concurrent workstreams.
• Technical Literacy: A strong grasp of modern networking, cybersecurity, and cloud concepts (e.g., SASE, Zero Trust, APIs, DNS).
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the "gravitas" to influence C-suite stakeholders and lead through persuasion.
Preferred Attributes
• Change Management: Experience guiding enterprise customers through the cultural and operational shifts that accompany digital transformation.
• Operational Craftsmanship: Proven ability to remain effective and organized in environments where processes are still being defined or optimized.
• Conflict Resolution: Advanced skills in navigating friction within project teams or with customers to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
