We're hiring a temporary, part-time Receptionist to work two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday 9-6p), at our New York office. This role is temporary and runs through 12/31.

The Receptionist is someone who is energetic, upbeat, and genuinely enjoys making people feel welcome. As the first point of contact for our clients, partners, candidates, and Crossmedians, this person plays an important role in creating a positive first impression and contributing to the overall vibe of our office.

The ideal candidate is polished, proactive, dependable, and hands-on. • Support company cultural initiatives, including Burgerdays and monthly coffee hours in reception - barista skills are a plus!
  • Help maintain a polished and presentable office, including tidying kitchen and open office areas, loading/unloading dishwashers, straightening conference rooms, and supporting general office organization
  • Restock office supplies, snacks, beverages, kitchen, and bathroom supplies
  • Assist with maintaining centralized office and operational information, including furniture and office supply inventory
  • Be proactive and willing to pitch in wherever needed to support the Operations team and the overall office experience
  • Work collaboratively and support Operations initiatives and company-wide activities

What We're Looking For

  • Personable, approachable, and service-minded, with a natural ability to make people feel comfortable and welcome
  • Strong work ethic and a "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality - someone who takes initiative and is always looking to make things better
  • Collaborative, resourceful, and dependable
  • Excellent listener with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized with ability to multitask, prioritize and follow through
  • Hospitality, retail, or office-related experience; front desk experience preferred
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office for Mac (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
