CNC Programmer (Temp-to-Hire)

Client: Aerospace MFG Company – global provider of manufacturing & engineering services and engineered/structural solutions for aerospace, defense, and industrial markets)
Job:  CNC Programmer
Location:  South Bay
Schedule:  6:00 AM – 3:00 PM + OT
Pay:  $30.00–$50.00/hr (DOE)
Job Type:  Temp-to-Hire

Summary

Create N/C programs for 3- and 5-axis machines using customer engineering drawings/models and internal procedures. Support production by developing CAD models/drawings and tooling designs as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create N/C programs from customer-furnished data sets, blueprints, or sketches
  • Build 3D geometries for N/C tool paths
  • Support N/C machine operators and troubleshooting as needed
  • Create setup books and N/C machining instructions
Requirements
  • Formal CATIA training required; CATIA experience is a must
  • Unigraphics experience is a plus
  • 5+ years N/C programming experience in aerospace (strong 3 & 5-axis background)
  • Knowledge of machining codes, cutting tools, feeds/speeds
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
