Job description

OB Night-Float CRNA Opening

OB Night-Float CRNA opening to grow and support busy hospital-based practice in White Plains, NY; diverse case mix in a care team model with the perfect work life balance flexibility! White Plains Hospital is the most awarded and fastest growing hospital in Westchester County - just north of NYC. It's renowned programs and services provide a wide breadth of specialized surgical care supported by the anesthesiology department. Operations and surgical procedures are performed solely by attendings allowing for exceptional efficiency. The primary mission of this not-for-profit healthcare organization is to provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare and preventive medical care to people in the Westchester County area. Our practice provides anesthesia services for a diverse case mix at White Plains Hospital and five Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the area. Recent enhancements include a Night Float Anesthesiologist for Labor and Delivery as well as a low frequency of overnight call. We have a vibrant and energetic group composed of 45 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs from top programs. We cover 41 anesthetizing locations daily. We work together in a care team model. Our care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

Case Assignments & Schedule• Schedule: OB Night-Float 26 weeks on and 26 weeks off

Key Responsibilities• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements • Current license as a registered professional nurse• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
