Job description

This position will fulfill the role of a working field superintendent, as opposed to an office project manager. The position would also consist of a great deal of travel.
CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT DUTIES INCLUDE
  • Having an owner's mentality and the ability to work successfully and comfortably representing RCI with clients and vendors.
  • Moving projects forward as well as being able to get dirty when needed.
  • Seeing possible issues in advance and making plans to address these issues before they arise.
  • Scheduling multiple crews, arranging deliveries, and ensuring proper paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
  • Having an eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have 3 - 5 years of experience in concrete and commercial pool building. CPO (Certified Pool Operator) and Shot Crete a plus.
  • A Clear understanding of the following: reading plans, shooting elevations, calculation of grades, layout piping, and equipment room installation.
  • Familiarity with chemical systems.
  • Ability to work for hands-on and train crew.
  • Ability to run construction equipment (Skid Steer, Mini Ex, Backhoe, High Reach Forklift, Vibratory Roller, Trencher, etc.)
  • Complete Knowledge of plumbing hydraulics, basic structural support theories, and soil expansion/compaction characteristics
  • Able and willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
  • $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Superintendent or equivalent education: 1 - 3 years
EDUCATION
