Job description

Job Title: Construction SuperintendentJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects throughout the Metro Detroit area. The Superintendent will manage all onsite construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. This role involves serving as the primary field leader, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing site safety requirements, and driving successful project execution from mobilization through closeout. The company handles a variety of work, including commercial, K-12, civic, recreation, and federal projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day construction operations on assigned projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
  • Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules.
  • Enforce site safety standards and conduct regular safety meetings.
  • Monitor quality and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and identify potential issues before they impact schedule or budget.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, owners, and inspectors.
  • Maintain daily reports, progress documentation, and project records.
  • Ensure project milestones are achieved and client expectations are met.

Pay and Benefits
