A Temporary Pilot Security Clearance is a provisional authorization granted to pilots, allowing them to access secure or restricted areas, information, or operations while their full security clearance is being processed. This temporary clearance enables pilots to perform necessary duties that require elevated security access on a short-term basis. It is typically issued after an initial background check and is subject to revocation if any disqualifying information is found during the full clearance process. The temporary clearance ensures that flight operations are not delayed while maintaining safety and security standards.
