Pay Rate: $18.00-$25.00/hour
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week (This is a temp-to-hire with the eligibility of full-time permanent placement.)

JOB SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is as a support role to the Project Manager and the assistant Project Managers in the field. Our client is a restoration company and jobs are sometimes on military bases, so you will need to be able to pass a background check per client requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Moving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools, machinery, and other equipment are safely set up.
  • Operating equipment like drills, pneumatic hammers, shovels, pikes, and other heavy machinery.
  • Assisting with various electrical and plumbing installation procedures.
  • Obeying health and safety codes, as well as the company's principles.
  • Removing hazardous materials from sites.
  • Spreading gravel, asphalt, and other materials over surfaces.
  • Performing site and equipment inspections.
  • Attending meetings and workshops.
  • Completing on-the-job training.
  • Ensuring tasks are completed to deadlines.
  • Organize and clean jobsites.
  • Protect completed phases of construction.
  • Prep construction sites.
  • Implement various safety protocols.
  • Load or unload construction materials.
  • Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers.
  • Assist supervisors.
  • Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
  • 40-hour work week

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience:
  • Previous experience is preferred doing drywall, tile, and more
  • All around handy-man needed

Other:
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • No smoking on jobsites.
  • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
  • Ability to work in all weather.
