Financial Analyst

Our client is seeking an FP&A individual to join their growing team. This position is remote-hybrid based out of NYC. This job is onsite 3days per week and remote 2days per week. This position is starting on a temporary basis for 6months. Qualified candidates will be contacted immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and internal reporting to help evaluate and improve the firm's financial performance.
  • Gather and analyze data from multiple systems while partnering with cross-functional teams to produce accurate reports and support business initiatives.
  • Contribute to scenario planning, forecasting, and sensitivity analyses for both existing operations and new business opportunities.
  • Partner with Portfolio Managers to monitor fund performance, including key metrics such as IRR, serving as a primary Finance contact to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to review financial results, analyze budget-to-actual variances, identify trends, and support ongoing reporting initiatives.
  • Work alongside business leaders to evaluate departmental revenue, expenses, and overall financial performance through regular reporting and analysis.
  • Support strategic initiatives and business transformation projects in partnership with the Strategy and Corporate Development team, tracking progress and measuring results.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance internal financial reports and dashboards using OneStream.
  • Validate financial information included in investor materials, marketing presentations, and other external communications to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Review and approve financial content used in asset management marketing materials and investor presentations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance.
  • Prior experience within financial services, ideally supporting an asset management organization.
  • Working experience with financial planning and reporting platform OneStream

Preferred:

  • CPA, CFA, or MBA designation is a plus.
