wringing out, literally and figuratively, of the body, mind, and soul.

This summer, The Class is bringing its signature method, hospitality, and community to Montauk through a seasonal residency designed to foster connection, movement, and shared experience. From Classes to workshops, special events, and community gatherings, we are creating a space where Students can reconnect with themselves, each other, and the energy of summer on the East End.

Job Description

The Class is seeking energetic, hospitality-driven Studio Support Associates to help bring our Montauk Summer Residency to life.


This is a temporary, part-time seasonal position perfect for someone who loves people, hospitality, wellness, and the unique energy of a summer community. If you're the type of person who notices the little things, enjoys creating memorable experiences, and gets excited about being part of something special from the ground up, we'd love to meet you.

As a Studio Support Associate, you will help uphold the operational, aesthetic, and energetic integrity of The Class environment through thoughtful hospitality, attention to detail, and hands-on support. You will work closely with Teachers, leadership, and fellow team members to ensure the studio operates smoothly while maintaining the welcoming and emotionally safe atmosphere The Class is known for.

What You'll Do

Hospitality & Student Experience

  • Greet, check in, and warmly welcome students and guests upon arrival.
  • Deliver elevated hospitality to current and prospective students, ensuring every interaction reflects The Class values and community experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and on-brand environment throughout all student-facing
  • spaces.
  • Support the overall emotional safety, atmosphere, and guest experience of The Class environment.
  • Exemplify exceptional customer service by addressing student needs, questions, and concerns
  • promptly and professionally.
  • Help create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps students lingering after Class, making new connections, and returning throughout the summer.

Studio Operations

  • Prepare and maintain studio and event spaces before and after Classes, including mats, floors, mirrors, props, and common areas.
  • Execute daily operational checklists and assist with opening, closing, and reset procedures.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown for Classes, workshops, special events, and community activations.
  • Monitor and communicate inventory, supply, maintenance, or operational needs to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Maintain working knowledge of The Class schedule, memberships, packages, retail offerings, and seasonal programming.
  • Supportย retail operations, including restocking, merchandising, and maintaining visual standards.

Production & Teacher Support

  • Support Teachers with operational and production needs, including music, microphones, props, storage, andย troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Partner closely with fellow Studio Support team members to ensure smooth transitions between
  • Classes and events.
  • Assist in maintaining studio presentation and operational flow throughout the day.
  • Communicate operational or production issues clearly and proactively to leadership.

Team & Culture

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-first environment.
  • Bring positive energy, curiosity, and a community-first mindset to every shift.
  • Adapt to the evolving needs of a seasonal residency environment with flexibility, initiative, and professionalism.
  • Assist with onboarding and supporting new Studio Support team members when requested.
  • Uphold The Class Studio Staff Dress Code and Presentation Guide, ensuring alignment with the brand's visual, energetic, and hospitality standards.

Schedule & Availability

  • This is a temporary, part-time seasonal position supporting The Class Summer Residency.
  • The residency will operate seven days per week from mid-July to mid-August.
  • Studio Support Associates should expect to work primarily morning shifts, with opportunities for additional hours during workshops, special events, and community activations.
  • Weekend availability is required.
  • Paid virtual onboarding and training may take place prior to the start of the residency.
  • Team members may have opportunities for additional hours following the residency to assist with breakdown and wrap-up activities.

  • Previous studio, fitness, hospitality, or events experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
