This is a temporary, part-time certified teaching position for the Summer School Program for Thomaston Public Schools:
Rate of Pay: $31.09 per hour June 24, 2026 - June 30, 2026; $35.17 per hour July 1, 2026 - July 17, 2026
Work Hours: 8:00 am to 11:00 AM Monday through Thursday (4 hours total per day - 1 hour prep)
Start/End Date: Wednesday, June 24, 2026 through Friday, July 17, 2026 (no work hours on July 3, 2026 Independence Day Holiday)
Location: All summer programs will be held at the Thomaston High School facility
No benefits/no paid time off

The Thomaston Public Schools district is located in Thomaston, Connecticut which encompasses a land area of 12 square miles and has a population of 7,922. The Town is 10 miles south of Torrington, 23 miles west of Hartford and is bordered by Waterbury, Plymouth, Harwinton, Litchfield, and Watertown. Thomaston is a residential community that consists predominantly of single-family homes affordable across a broad range of income levels.
