Volt is immediately hiring a Painter in Wamego, Kansas.
As a Painter, you will:
  • Prepare and paint buildings, walls, floors, parts, assemblies, facility items, and equipment within a manufacturing facility
  • Perform hand and spray painting of building structures, plant equipment, tools, furniture, parts, assemblies, and finished products.
  • Operate line striping machines, chipping hammers, portable sand blast equipment, power sanders, spraying, and drying booths or related equipment.
  • Change filters, nozzles, hoses, as required.
  • Surface preparation includes cleaning, sanding, chipping, sand or water blasting and patching

This is a full-time, possible temp to hire opportunity!
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm plus overtime.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Good communication skills
  • 6 months or more of painting experience, preferably commercial or residential or industrial painting
  • Ability to pass a 7-year criminal background check and drug screen

Pay Rate*: $16.00 - 18.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
