Physician – Interventional Radiology | Locum Tenens | Springfield, OH

We are seeking a Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist to provide onsite coverage at a regional medical center in Springfield, Ohio.

Position Details
  • Position Type: Locum Tenens

  • Shift: Onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Weeknight Call 5:00 PM–8:00 AM; Weekend 24-hour Call
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Intermittent ongoing coverage
Position Overview
  • Patient Population: Adult
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient Hospital
  • Responsibilities: Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, embolization, port catheter placement, biopsies, drain placements, ablations, and kyphoplasty. Provide onsite procedural coverage with night and weekend call as scheduled.
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 12 patients per day
  • Practice Mix: 70% Outpatient / 30% Inpatient
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Coverage Reason: Provider retirement
  • Call Requirements: Weeknight and weekend call
  • Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30–60 days (temporary privileges available)
Requirements
  • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
  • Active BLS and ACLS Certifications
  • Active DEA Registration
  • Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
  • Ohio Medical License preferred
