Job description

Key Responsibilities and Duties- Facilitate and assist in proper setup and staging of pumps.
- Coordinate with onsite personnel in proper wiring and hookup of any AC wiring connections for power of the pump system.
- Inspect and test pump system prior to operation.
- Control, adjust, and maintain all safety and operational functions of the pump system during operation.
- Working with and or monitoring hose pusher, remotes, air compressor, water and plumbing, pump pressures, pump speeds, pump temps, product delivery and viscosities.
- Awareness and ability to identify and diagnose any potential failure in safety, mechanical, and operational functionality.
- Maintain and organize all pump system components during and between uses. (i.e. hoses, fittings, cords, remotes, etc.)
- Preform, document, and report all scheduled pump system maintenance and records per APC policy.
- Test and calibrate all system components on a regular basis.
- Identify, allocate, and order correct system parts and components as needed for inventory and replacement.
High school diploma or equivalent required
- MSHA 5000-23 training
- MSHA Part 48 Underground training
- Basic Mechanical background
- Ability to work non-traditional first shift hours generally starting early.
- Perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply and divide) to count inventory, verify inventory
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Strong team-oriented mentality
- Basic Knowledge of:
- Low voltage electrical troubleshooting
- Hydraulic systems
- Computer skills
- Diagram/Schematic interpretation
- Must meet requirements of all State and Federal explosive laws and qualify as an ATF explosive possessor
- Reliable transportation
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age as required by the ATF
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Outdoor climate and terrain.
- Exposure to dust, noise, oils and other mining elements.
- Position requires the ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel and hand/finger dexterity to operate controls/tools.
