Job description

Welder/Fabricators

At Work Staffing is accepting resumes for Welder/Fabricators in the Decatur, AL area. Give us a call to schedule an appointment time. These will be temp to hire positions.

Duties:

  • Perform fabrication and welding tasks using various tools and equipment, including plasma cutting, machining, and press brake machine.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate and assemble metal parts.
  • Rig and position materials for welding or assembly.
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
  • Solder or braze components as needed.
  • Assist with ductwork fabrication and installation.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
