Job description


Field Service Tech - Up to 2,000 Weekly W/OT& Per DiemSAVARD is looking for a hands-on Field Technician to support pipe installation and jointing operations. The ideal candidate has worked with fiberglass, GRP pipe, or related experience, is safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable working in a field environment. This position requires travel throughout the United States, including travel to offshore sites wherever our field projects are located.
Key Requirements:
  • Must have fiberglass, GRP pipe, composite, or related experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Monitor pipe installation and jointing to ensure procedures and quality standards are followed.
  • Identify, inspect, handle, and properly store pipes, fittings, and chemicals.
  • Prepare pipe and fitting surfaces for installation.
  • Joint pipes and fittings according to approved procedures.
  • Identify pipe and fitting defects and assist with repairs.
  • Conduct hydrostatic and deflection testing on installed lines.
  • Read and follow piping drawings, equipment manuals, and work instructions.
  • Ability to travel as needed

Shifts:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • Weekends/OT/Travel as needed

Duration:
  • Temp to hire after probationary period
