Staying organized and maintaining comprehensive documentation ensures continuity of care and helps practitioners provide effective support during their temporary assignment.

What is a Temporary Nutrition Response Testing Practitioner?

A Temporary Nutrition Response Testing Practitioner is a health professional who is trained to use Nutrition Response Testing (NRT), a non-invasive technique that analyzes the body's nutritional needs through muscle testing. This practitioner works on a temporary basis, often filling short-term roles or assisting during busy periods. Their responsibilities typically include assessing clients' health through NRT protocols, recommending dietary and supplement changes, and tracking progress. The 'temporary' designation means their contract or employment is not permanent, and may cover specific projects, leaves, or seasonal demand. They often work in wellness clinics, holistic health centers, or private practices.

  • Maintain documentation of client progress and program engagement metrics for stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition
  • CPR/AED Certification
  • Superb public speaking and presentation skills; ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Highly self-sufficient, organized, and capable of managing nutrition programming for a large-scale corporate population.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in exercise physiology or nutrition
  • Hold advanced nutrition credentials (e.g., CSSD, CDCES, CSOWM)
  • Hold industry-recognized fitness certifications (e.g., NSCA-CSCS or NASM)

Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $59,000 - $90,000/year. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
