Dahlia Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking experienced Cooks to work PART TIME for our skilled nursing facility in Aberdeen, NC! Now offering DAILY PAY

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for residents, keeping in mind dietary needs and special diets
  • Strong working knowledge on proper food storage and preparation
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitary requirements
  • Knowledge of state Dietary regulations
  • Pleasant, friendly and helpful at all times ensuring proper and timely service
  • Ensure work environment and stations are clean and sanitized

Qualifications:

  • Maintains a current ServSafe certificate (food services sanitation certificate)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED accepted
  • Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
  • Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
